1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using ForgeDocks (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to any part, you must not use the Service. ForgeDocks reserves the right to modify these Terms anytime. Material changes are communicated via email with 30 days’ notice.
2. Account Registration and Responsibility
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
Account Security:
- One account per person/organization
- You are responsible for maintaining password confidentiality
- You are responsible for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
3. Intellectual Property
3.1 Forge Intellectual Property
Forge retains full ownership of all intellectual property embodied in the ForgeDocks Service and all tools, including software, design systems, brand identity, technical architecture, trademarks, copyrights, and proprietary methodologies. These assets are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and design patent law.
3.2 User Data & Generated Content Ownership
You retain full and exclusive ownership of all data you create, input, upload, or generate while using Forge tools. Forge makes no claim to your data. You own these assets outright and may use, modify, delete, export, analyze, or share them freely.
3.3 Tool Licensing by Type
3.3.1 Free Tools
Free tools are provided under a non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable license for personal and commercial use. Restrictions: You may not remove Forge branding, claim authorship, redistribute the tool, or misrepresent its origin.
3.3.2 Paid Operator & Pro Subscription Tools
Subscription tools are licensed exclusively and non-transferably to the account holder only. Commercial use of tool outputs is permitted. Tool access may not be shared. Upon subscription cancellation, your license terminates immediately.
3.3.3 One-Time Purchase Tools
One-time purchases grant a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to the account holder. The license may not be sold, gifted, transferred, or assigned.
3.4 Absolute Restrictions & Prohibited Conduct
You are strictly prohibited from: Reverse engineering tools, creating modifications or derivatives, redistributing or reselling tools, claiming authorship of Forge IP, removing proprietary notices, competitive use, unauthorized access, and illegal use. These restrictions apply regardless of tool licensing tier.
3.5 Brand Protection & Name Usage
You may not use Forge’s name, trademarks, logos, colors, or design system without prior written consent. Limited Exception: You may reference Forge by name when accurately crediting the source of a tool or publicly sharing outputs with proper attribution.
3.6 Derivative Works & Tool Outputs
All calculations and analyses generated by running a Forge tool belong exclusively to you. You may use, share, modify, distribute, or commercialize your outputs. However, you do not own the tool itself, its code, algorithms, or logic. Attempting to modify the tool or create derivatives violates this agreement.
3.7 Commercial Use Rights
Commercial outputs generated by any licensed tool may be incorporated into commercial products or sold to clients. Commercial redistribution or resale of the tool itself is prohibited for all tiers.
3.8 Forge’s Data Rights & Product Improvement
Forge may collect anonymized, aggregated usage data to improve the service. Forge will NOT access your calculation data, transmit your data externally, monetize your data, or use it for any purpose other than service improvement.
3.9 Third-Party Integrations
Some tools may integrate with external platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Stripe, Zapier, etc.). Forge is not responsible for third-party outages or security breaches. Your use is governed by their independent terms. You are fully responsible for managing your API keys and credentials.
3.10 Attribution Requirements
If you publicly share Forge tool outputs, you must clearly credit the source tool (e.g., “Generated using MarginIQ by Forge”) and include a link when practical. This requirement does not apply to private, internal use.
3.11 Enforcement & Remedies
Violations constitute material breaches and may result in immediate account termination without notice or refund, removal of all access, legal action, and reporting to law enforcement.
3.12 Updates to Intellectual Property Policy
Forge may update this section anytime. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days’ written notice.
4. Payment & Billing
Subscriptions auto-renew monthly. Charges appear on your payment method on renewal date. Invoice emails sent 7 days before charge. You authorize Forge to charge the payment method on file via Stripe.
5. Refunds
Subscriptions have a 7-day refund window. One-time purchases are non-refundable. Duplicate charges refunded immediately. See our Refund Policy for complete details.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Service for illegal activities, hacking, scraping, malware, harassment, spam, phishing, or fraud. Violations may result in account suspension or termination without refund.
7. Data & Privacy
Account data used for account management and billing only. Tool usage not collected. Tools operate offline. Billing data retained 7–10 years per tax law. You control all data. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.
8. Limitations of Liability
Tools provided “as-is” without warranty. Forge not liable for direct or indirect damages, loss of profits or data, or malfunction. Maximum liability shall not exceed amounts paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Third-Party Integrations
Forge is not responsible for third-party outages or data practices. Your use is subject to their terms. API keys and credentials are your responsibility.
10. Termination
You may terminate at any time by requesting account deletion. Forge may suspend or terminate accounts for violations or illegal activity.
11. Dispute Resolution
Governed by EU/UK law. Disputes resolved through binding arbitration.
12. Modifications
Material changes communicated via email with 30 days’ notice. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
