Why we built it
Most software today is rented. You pay every month, your data lives on someone else’s server, and the day you stop paying you’re locked out of work you already did. We think that’s backwards.
Forge is the opposite bet: small, sharp tools you own outright. Each one turns a complicated task into a readable interface — enter what you have, get a clear answer. No bloat, no dashboards you’ll never use, no hostage-taking. When we ship a better version, the update is free. It’s the start of a growing line, not a finished catalogue.

Cost grows only with value: most tools are free or buy-once-own-forever. A subscription is only ever needed for the server-side AI tools that cost us compute to run — never for the tools you own.
